Cheeky Leash Share Ultimate Road Trip Playlist to Celebrate Recent Single ‘Change’ and National Tour

Wollongong indie band Cheeky Leash are on a roll in 2025. Fresh from their standout BIGSOUND debut and the release of their nostalgic, emotionally charged new single Change, the four-piece are hitting the road for a string of shows across Australia — and to celebrate, they’ve shared with us their ultimate road trip playlist.

Blending heartfelt indie rock with sharp songwriting, Change sees Cheeky Leash reflect on human connection, growth, and the challenges of navigating today’s world, all while delivering the kind of anthemic sound that has made them one of the most exciting new acts on the East Coast. Alongside the single comes a striking new music video, filmed on the stunning Gerroa coastline, that captures the track’s deeper meaning and cinematic feel.

Now, as they prepare to take Change on tour, Cheeky Leash are giving fans a personal look into the songs that inspire them on the road — from Khruangbin and Sam Fender to Bruce Springsteen and The Paper Kites.
