Citizen Rat Announce 2025 Australian Tour and Signing to SODEH Records
Brisbane’s explosive punk/metal outfit Citizen Rat are gearing up for a massive new chapter, today announcing their signing to Canadian label SODEH Records alongside a national tour to celebrate their upcoming single Fry.
The ‘Fry’ Single Tour will see Citizen Rat bring their chaotic riffs and ferocious energy to stages across the east coast, kicking off on September 27 at Vinnies Dive Bar on the Gold Coast before hitting Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba. Fans can expect a blistering live show packed with raw honesty, relentless energy and the kind of unfiltered chaos that has made Citizen Rat one of Brisbane’s most talked-about heavy acts.

Rounding out the news, the band have confirmed their explosive new single “Fry” will arrive on September 21. Featuring Polly of Mitch, Please!, the track dives headfirst into authenticity, substance struggles and self-acceptance — delivered with searing vocals and a brutal, unrelenting energy.
