Crash and the Crapenters Drop Explosive New Single ‘All Geared Up’ Ahead of 2025 EP

Australian rock outfit Crash and the Crapenters are back with a bang, releasing their latest single, All Geared Up, a gritty, high-energy anthem that takes listeners on a four-act journey through the highs and lows of indulgence. The track offers fans another preview of their upcoming EP, Species Du Faeces, set to drop in early 2025.

Known for their bold and unapologetic approach to punk rock, the band dives deep into the cultural phenomenon of Australia’s so-called “nose beer” scene. Frontman Chris Carpenter drew from personal experiences with drug use, crafting a narrative that captures the euphoric highs and inevitable crashes of the party lifestyle. The track begins with an infectious energy, featuring dynamic riffs and soaring vocals, before descending into a slow, warped finale that mirrors the physical and emotional toll of substance abuse.

“‘All Geared Up’ is an indictment on the “nose beer” culture that exists in Australia.” – Chris Carpenter.

Following the success of their previous single, Depression (Smells Like Middle Aged Spirit), which received glowing reviews from some of the country’s biggest tastemakers, All Geared Up cements Crash and the Crapenters as a force in Australia’s rock scene. With their raw sound and evocative storytelling, this band continues to push boundaries—and buttons.
