Cryptopsy Announce ‘The Tour of Suffering’ Australian Dates

Canadian extreme-techn death metal outift Cryptopsy have announced they’ll be touring Australia in September. The tour, named ‘The Tour of Suffering’, will see the 4-piece play a handful of Australian cities with special guests Whoretopsy and I Valiance.

‘The Tour of Suffering’ is the first time the band has set foot in Australia since they released their EP ‘The Book Of Suffering – Tome 1’ in October last year.

Cryptopsy have been a staple in the extreme metal scene for more than two decades, with 2000’s album ‘…And Then You’ll Beg’ considered by many a classic. With lyrical themes of horror, mutilation, gore and insanity, the band have captured the attention of death metal enthusiasts from around the world. Since their formation in 1988 (under the name Necrosis), they’ve have gone on to push the boundaries and assist in defining the death metal genre, helping to shape it into the genre that is known and loved today.

Cryptopsy’s epic live show is not to be missed, and Australian fans will be in for a treat when the band hit shores in Spring!
