Cult Californian Rapper ANTWON Is Coming Down Under

Cali hip hop hero Antwon has announced his first Australian shows, touring our East Coast throughout October.

While headlining his own shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Bondi, and Melbourne, he’ll also be featuring at Wollongong’s Yours & Owls Festival and Camp Doogs in Perth.

If you’re unfamiliar, Antwon (or Antonio Williams) is a unique brand of rapper. Trying to push the boundaries of hip hop and rap expectations, Antwon throws them out the window with a relentless and refreshing showcase of his distinctive lyrical and musical ability.

Antwon’s newest single ‘100K’ bestows not only deep meaning, but a dark and mystic beat underlying his impressive wordplay. This lead up allows a surprisingly light and upbeat chorus which showcases his talent to re-defy rap.

Antwon is also an ex-hardcore punk band member and a Nature Boy clothing leader, he likes to keep busy.

Australia’s about to experience a new breed of rapper, and hopefully he’ll be hip-hopping off his tour bus to enjoy our not-so-californian beaches too.
