Daisy Park Unveil Emotional New Single ‘Always’ with Nostalgic Music Video
Perth indie-rock outfit Daisy Park are kicking off 2025 with the release of their deeply emotive new single, Always, accompanied by a stunningly cinematic music video. Following their recognition in the 2023 triple j Unearthed High Yearbook, where they won the Spacey Jane’s Little Sibling Award, the band has steadily built a devoted fanbase, and Always solidifies their reputation as rising stars in Australia’s indie scene.
Exploring themes of emotional suppression and unresolved heartache, Always captures the turmoil of masking inner pain with an outwardly composed façade. Vocalist Fyn describes the track as a reflection on the sudden loss of a relationship and the struggle to understand what went wrong.
“At its core, ‘Always’ is about the sudden loss of a relationship, and trying to cope with not knowing what went wrong. It covers the feelings that I showed externally to my friends and family as opposed to how I really felt on the inside. The contrast of my outward projection and my interiordialogue was a really big part of the writing process.” – Fyn, Daisy Park.

Recorded and mixed by guitarist Mitch Santiago in his home studio, Always comes to life visually through a nostalgic music video directed by Juno Shean. Shot along Fremantle’s picturesque coastline, the video perfectly complements the track’s themes of longing and introspection.
With their debut EP on the horizon and a packed year ahead—including performances at Hyper Fest alongside San Cisco and DICE, plus a West Coast tour supporting Fool Nelson—2025 is shaping up to be a breakthrough year for Daisy Park.
