Darling James article

Darling James & Machine Age have announced a three-date co-headline tour along Australia’s East Coast to celebrate the release of Darling James’ latest single The Itch.

The tour will kick off in early May with venues including, Brighton up Bar (Sydney), The Workers Club (Melbourne) and The Milk Factory (Brisbane).

Although the styling of both artists are different, with Darling James leaning towards frizzing pop and Machine Age towards industrial electronica. Underneath the surface, there are more similarities between the two of them than it seems.

Both were involved with nationally-beloved bands. Darling James is the ex-frontman of The Boat People and Machine Age has created production for artists like Big Scary.

And the key Likeness? It lies in the unique nature of their sounds. Combining these two in a room is sure to set out a tangible reaction so affecting it’ll scratch anyone’s itch.
