Darren Middleton Wants YOU To Sing With Him

Songwriter, guitarist, and shredder of late Brisbane rock legends Powderfinger Darren Middleston has asked the world for their voices on his new song Lightening Halos.

Middleton posted a video on his Facebook this week asking fans, singers, and anyone of interest to submit a vocal recording for the chorus of the new track.

With over 33,000 views on the video in just two days, the response to Darren’s request was overwhelming. This audience reaction revealed his intention to get the world to sing on his track, as he invites as many people as possible to join on in – office workers, classrooms and anyone both nationally and internationally.

The song itself speaks of the everyday troubles in life and the importance of strength through hardship. The chorus, through which the world shall feature on, reads;

As we
Sail through wild days
Lightning halos
Taking on water
Trying to stay on

Middleton suggests the positivity of music and its remedy for suffering as well as listening pleasure in his plea for a collection of voices, culture and promotion of peace.
