Darude Whips Up A (Sand)Storm With Added Australian Tour Dates

I wish there was a word for the first drop in Sandstorm. Like, a word in the English language that I could type, and everyone would go: “oh, now I know what you’re talking about!” Maybe that word could be Rkrkrdzzz! Or Duardididi!

In any case, if that word existed, that’s the word I would use to start this article telling you that Finnish trance-God Darude has expanded his previously announced Australian tour to a whopping 13 dates.

It’s only a year since Australia got blasted with the full brunt of the hypnotic producer: he was a standout performer at last year’s Future Music Festival (rest in peace, old friend). However, Darude exists in that rare category of artists from whom there is no such thing as over-exposure.

The live performances are such spectacles, the music is such a timeless example of early-2000’s club music aesthetic and sound, that Darude can tour as much as he God-damn wants.

And we at AAA Backstage cannot wait.
