Dream Rimmy Drop Another Dreamy Single “Landslide”
Perth shoegazers Dream Rimmy have just released their latest single Landslide, and it’s a catchy, chilled-out psych track! Landslide is the second single the 6-piece have released this year, having released their distorted guitar, cymbal-heavy single Waves earlier.
Landslide is a steady, calming track with synth elements and harmonies that build as it progresses. The song is a little bit like if Courtney Barnett did a collab with The Dandy Warhols, and it’s every bit as cool and collected as that collab would be. The harmonies on Landslide give it a real ethereal feel, transporting the listener away to a calmer place where the Windows Media Player visualiser is never switched off.
Dream Rimmy first formed in 2014, and have since released a self-titled debut EP, as well as supporting the likes of King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard, Swervedriver, and The Preatures. The band have also appeared at festivals such as State of The Art with You Am I and Birds of Tokyo.
The sextet are set to head into the studio later this year to begin working on their second EP.
