Drift Away With Dreuw’s Captivating Masterpiece ‘Give Me Your Hand’

Leeds indie-folk singer-songwriter Dreuw has recently released an ambient masterpiece, ‘Give Me Your Hand’.

Dreuw’s artistry has already earned him spots at Sofar Sounds events, a feature on BBC introducing and a nomination by London’s Resonance FM for Glastonbury’s Talent Longlist. This, plus his past well-received singles ‘Heavy’ and ‘When Will You’, really cement the notion that he’s heading for big things.

In ‘Give Me Your Hand’ Dreuw strings together haunting melodies that describe the aching loss of a loved one. His lyrics cover the challenge of navigating through the disorientation experienced after such a tragedy. He explains: “I feel this track projects the weight we often feel when experiencing grief, allowing us to understand that it’s normal to lose our way sometimes. I think we can all relate to this feeling, at some point in our lives, and should remember to accept a helping hand.”

The ethereal vocals and understated yet immersive soundscape of ‘Give Me Your Hand’ is reminiscent of talents like Bon Iver and RY X. The track features delicate guitar and a gentle, dream-like delivery that sets the scene for a soothing and introspective journey, captivating the listener in just over three minutes.

Check out this mesmerising track now and drift away somewhere peaceful.
