Dune Rats Never Stop, Announce Tour & Drop New Vid!

If you’ve been looking for a good reason to hit the regional centres for a concert that ISN’T Groovin’ the Moo, your favourite Aussie party rockers taking over the airwaves with a huge double announcement today!

Hot off the back of a spot on the enormous Splendour in the Grass lineup, Dune Rats have announced the “F*UCK YEAH LEDGE YEW!” Tour for later this year. However, while they’re on the road again, they’re not heading to their usual haunts, but off the beaten track to a few of the nation’s smaller cities and towns this time around.

And if that wasn’t enough to get you all pumped up, the Dunies have dropped the music video for their latest single, Braindead!

After their latest (interactive, and super cool) clip saw the lads chasing down their archnemesis Scott Green, Braindead keeps it cool in a huge field of the Devil’s lettuce. After a small-town skater takes a head knock (get it?) he is spiritually transported to a huge field of jazz cabbage where the Choonies have set up a half-pipe, established a jam session, and, one might imagine, fired up a few bugles.

The colouration for the clip then goes a little haywire, and, blended with the classic Dunies’ style of party punk, you could almost feel like one of the band!

The regional tour is set to kick off in early June in Newcastle, before heading all over the country and finishing in now-dry Airlie Beach in July!
