Eagles of Death Metal Singer: “Guns Save Lives”

Jesse Hughes of Eagles of Death Metal

Last year 89 fans were murdered at the Eagles of Death Metal concert at Paris’ Bataclan Theatre during the shocking November terrorist attack on the city.  Yesterday the band’s leader Jesse Hughes publicly shared his views on pro-gun control to prevent any future tragedies.

In a heartbreaking interview with the French television station iTélé Hughes declared “I want everyone to have guns.”

The veteran rocker broke down, saying it only ended that night when some of the bravest men with firearms charged headfirst into the face of death.

“I know people will disagree with me, but it just seems like God made men and women, and that night guns made them equal.

“Until nobody has guns everybody has to have them. Because I’ve never seen anyone that’s ever had one dead.”

The rockers will be playing at Paris’ Olympic Concert Hall Tuesday night. This time maximum security will be ensured to prevent any doubts in concertgoers’ minds. Psychologists will also be available for Bataclan survivors who have been invited to enjoy the show for free.

The Eagles of Death Metal will be hitting our shores in March for the Bluesfest. Click HERE for Details!
