Ears Need A Hug? Check Out Selahphonic’s New Track “Easy”
Sunshine Coast indie-rock lads Selahphonic have dropped their super bright new track Easy and we’ve got no doubt it’ll get you grooving!
Oozing like an audio smile, Easy is full of huge synthesiser melodies while the vocals sound like the track was recorded with a grin plastered on Jaime Coyle’s face. There’s just something about the track that makes you just want to do you happy dance, or plug in the AUX cord and crank it to 11! The new single follows Ghosts of 1999, a hard-hitting synth jam with equal parts poppy synthesisers and crunchy guitars.
Frontman Jaime Coyle says Easy is about “acknowledging that life is full of hardships and obstacles”.
“Certain events take you by surprise and plans don’t always necessarily roll out as you’d like them to. You lose your job, someone you love dies, you fail your university exams, or you get your heart broken. It’s easy to give up, but to overcome and face these challenges is what displays and builds true character,” says Coyle.
