Electric Island 2026 Announces Return With Armand Van Helden, Above & Beyond and Flight Facilities
Australia’s iconic beachside electronic music festival Electric Island is set to make a massive return in 2026, bringing together global dance legends and breathtaking coastal settings for the ultimate summer experience.
The festival kicks off at Adelaide’s Glenelg Beach on April 11, before heading to Melbourne’s RIVA and Perth’s Cottesloe Beach for two-day weekenders across April 18 and 19.
Leading the lineup is Armand Van Helden, the American house music titan behind timeless hits like “My My My”, “I Want Your Soul”, and “Barbara Streisand” (as one half of Duck Sauce). With a career spanning over three decades, Van Helden remains one of dance music’s most celebrated names — bringing his signature blend of energy and nostalgia to all three cities.
Joining him in Melbourne and Perth are Above & Beyond, the Grammy-nominated trio behind the globally adored Group Therapy radio show and countless trance anthems. The group will perform tracks from their latest album Bigger Than All Of Us, marking an unmissable moment for Australian fans.
Homegrown favourites Flight Facilities (DJ Set) round out the first announcement, promising feel-good vibes and dance floor euphoria.
Promoter Damian Gelle says, “Next year our Electric Island run expands into three states with five open-air shows across some of Australia’s finest shorelines including our debut at Melbourne’s lush Riviera Beach Club in St Kilda.”
