Electro-folk Duo Sylvan Esso Return With Funky New Single

American electro-folk duo Sylvan Esso have amazed us once again with their new track Radio which dropped last week. Dubbed their most catchy song, this new single is bound to put you in that feel-good mood.

Apart from lead singer Amelia Meath’s gorgeous vocals, Radio provides a funky synth-beat with a slight 80’s vibe and kickass lyrics, right from the suspenseful beginning to the playful piano note at the end. This track will definitely get you out of your Netflix and chill slump and onto the dance floor!

Hailing from North Carolina, Sylvan Esso are an indie pop/electro-folk duo. Amelia Meath’s heart-melting lyrics are the perfect match for Nick Sanborn’s cool and creative instrumentals and production.

The pair joined forces in 2012 and since then have released some killer tunes. Their breakthrough single Coffee reached 36 million streams on Spotify. Sylvan Esso have been laying low since their debut self-titled album peaked at #39 on the Top 200 Billboard chart.

Sylvan Esso are currently busy at work putting the finishing touches on their sophomore album set for release in 2017, and will be showcasing some new work at upcoming performances, including US music festivals such as HOPSCOTCH Music Festival, Treasure Island Music Festival, and Fed Up Fest.
