Eleni Drake Unveils Poignant New Single ‘Dolores’ and Announces UK & Australian Tour Dates

British-Greek singer, songwriter, and producer Eleni Drake has returned with a powerful new single, ‘Dolores’. Marking her second release of 2025, the track builds on the emotional depth of her previous single, A Wonder Day, and showcases her signature blend of raw lyricism and minimalist guitar-driven soundscapes.

With gentle, soul-searching vocals, ‘Dolores’ explores themes of self-reflection, autonomy, and emotional accountability, drawing inspiration from the character of the same name in Westworld. It’s a song that captures the complexities of human nature — the blurred lines between perception and truth, and the difficult process of taking ownership in the aftermath of a broken relationship.

“Dolores actually means sorrow/pain – I wanted to name the song after the character from Westworld; Dolores begins as an innocent creation, but awakens to the harrowing truth of her existence. In her transformation, she becomes both the question and the answer, a symbol of the struggle for autonomy and the fragility of reality itself. It’s really about questioning if someone is how they present themselves, and realising they are not, and it is also about taking accountability in the demise of a relationship. I too make mistakes, often find myself at a crossroad, and trying to find the ‘right way’, but get it wrong.” Eleni Drake

To coincide with the release, Drake has also announced a series of intimate live shows across the UK and Australia. She will perform in London, Manchester, and Glasgow this November, followed by Sydney and Melbourne in December. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 6th at 10am local time.

With over 40 million streams and growing praise from major tastemakers, Eleni Drake continues her steady rise as one of the UK’s most promising emerging artists. ‘Dolores’ marks another confident step forward in what’s shaping up to be a defining year for the rising star.
