Everyone Wants A Puff Of The Chainsmokers Including Linkin Park & Weezer

American EDM duo The Chainsmokers have the world in their hands, and that now seems to also include internationally-loved artists pining to work with them.

The duo recently shared footage in the studio with Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Billboard have reported they’re in talks for potential collaborations with Weezer, Linkin Park, Big Sean, and Dua Lipa. This is exciting news considering the huge success of the duo’s previous bangin’ collaborations with female artists.

Just over a month ago The Chainsmokers gave us Closer featuring super popular diva Halsey. The track was an instant pop banger and Walk Of The Earth’s recent cover (see below) has gone viral! Last year’s hits Roses (featuring Rozes) and Don’t Let Me down (featuring Daya) were more electronic, yet equally catchy tunes.

It seems the production duo comprised by Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall is all about dem sweet collabs, which have sometimes erred on the side of cheap publicity rather than improving the quality of their music (in our opinion). They’ve been pooling talent since their first major release in 2014 #Selfie, for which the music video featured cameos by Snoop Dogg and David Hasselhoff.

The Chainsmokers are currently touring the US and UK, but we’ll be keeping our eye out for who these guys choose to work with next, ’cause a Chainsmokers-Linkin Park/Weezer collab could either be the best or the worst thing to grace the airwaves and humanity…
