Ezekiel Ox Releases Political Single, Announces Debut Solo EP

ezekiel ox

Aussie legend Ezekiel Ox has announced he’ll be releasing a solo EP titled ‘Proper Ganda’ later this year, with a tour also in the works! To get people excited for this release, the artist has released single My Name.

My Name is the first solo rock single the Victorian musician has released, and it’s a funky little number with soaring vocals and politically charged lyrics. Ox has had a prolific musical career, rocking major festivals in Australia and the UK with former band Mammal, and travelling the US with Full Scale Revolution.

The video for My Name demonstrates the meaning behind the song’s lyrics, with shots of Melbourne’s anti-racism street movement interspersed with Ox’s eccentric stage antics and footage of energetic crowds. At just over two minutes, My Name is a short, catchy track, full of energy and a powerful message.
