Fairgrounds Festival Announces Sweet 2016 Lineup
Summertime is nearly upon us and with it the festival season is about to begin once more, bringing with it Fairgrounds Festival.
Set in early December in the little town of Berry just south of Sydney, the Festival is set over two days with something for everyone and trust us this little festival has a lot more to offer then meets the eye!
There’s the obvious joys like being able to listen to fantastic music, to rummaging through the record fair looking for that long lost vinyl, or just relaxing with the family and enjoying one of the many food stalls available.
On day one you’ll be able to enjoy the likes of King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard who are bound to get the crowd pumping, the ‘sweet’ vocals of Rodriguez the notorious ‘Sugar Man’, and infamous punk rockers The Drones.
The second day will see the remaining acts entertaining the festival with international acts such as The Tallest Man on Earth coming all the way from Sweden and Sheer Mag from the ‘States’ to deliver some quality 70s Rock.
But with twelve stellar acts all across the weekend it’s difficult not give them all the attention they deserve with Son Little, Julien Baker, Angel Olsen, Japandroids, Big Scary, Julia Jacklin, and Sarah Blasko also appearing at the Festival.
So if you happen to be within the area or a certain act in particular has happened to catch your eye make your way down to the town of Berry for the Fairgrounds Festival and enjoy the weekend!
