Fall In “Love” With Stonefield’s New Track + Tour Dates
Melbournian psych-rock queens Stonefield are ready to break hearts around the world with the announcement of a national tour and the release of their latest single Love!
The track breathes influence from Icehouse’s classic rock style with a combination of retro guitar riffs, an epic solo, and lyrics that will remind you of a time when you’ve had to say “but I still love you.” Love was written with a different approach to Stonefield’s typical method, built from the ground up when they were jamming in their country Victoria loungeroom. Its huge instrumental focus and solid beat will really stick in your mind.
The ladies are heading on a tour with Rackett and White Bleaches to support their latest album As Above, So Below, which was released in July. Frontwoman Amy Findlay says the band are really excited to return to Australia with new music. “It’s been way too long since the last tour. Rackett and White Bleaches are both rad bands, so it’s going to be a really fun tour!”
Stonefield have spent the last six months overseas playing a string of US gigs including a stop at Austin’s SXSW festival and now, rather than taking some R’n’R, they’ve decided it’s due time to show Australia some Love.
