Feelds Unveils Dreamy New Single, ‘Sweet Tooth’

Renowned for his precise and electrifying approach to crafting songs, Feelds aka James Seymour, an esteemed writer and producer hailing from Melbourne / Naarm, captivates audiences once again with his mesmerising latest release, Sweet Tooth. Delving into a hypnotic sonic landscape, Feelds unveils a composition that seamlessly weaves together intricate melodies and pulsating rhythms, leaving listeners spellbound.

Born amidst the initial Melbourne lockdowns, Sweet Tooth emerged as a result of a unique undertaking proposed by Seymour’s close companion, Peter. Engaging in collaborative songwriting sessions enriched by specific directives, the endeavour initially aimed to fuel their creative spirits. Little did they anticipate that this creative experiment would ignite a profound transformation in the trajectory of the Feelds project. The experience acted as a catalyst, propelling James towards exciting collaborations with both local talents and international artists, laying the foundation for an exhilarating new chapter in his forthcoming album.

“For this particular session, the prompts were: ‘have to use acoustic guitars as the lead guitars’, and ‘must include the phrase “sweet tooth”‘. Peter’s track was excellent and so, so different – but I decided to persist  with mine to finish the production, with the help of Peter on drums. The song itself is a hypothetical about people in power becoming obsessed with things that don’t really matter in the grand scheme of things. It explores them being blinded by things like greed & an obsession for more”– James Seymour, Feelds.

With his unparalleled attention to detail and unwavering musicality, Feelds continues to push boundaries and redefine the contemporary music scene with this irresistible new single. Sweet Tooth is available now, everywhere.
