Festival of the Stone Returns to Byron Bay with a Stellar Lineup in 2025

Byron Bay’s beloved Festival of the Stone is back for 2025, bringing an electrifying lineup of Australian indie, rock, and post-punk acts to Stone & Wood on Saturday, June 14. Alongside the annual unveiling of the limited-edition Stone Beer, this year’s festival will once again raise funds for Byron Shire’s Fletcher Street Cottage, supporting locals experiencing homelessness and hardship.

Headlining Festival of the Stone 2025, Old Mervs will bring their infectious indie-rock anthems fresh off the release of their debut album. Josh Pyke, one of Australia’s most celebrated singer-songwriters, will deliver his signature heartfelt storytelling. Also joining the bill are The Belair Lip Bombs, whose catchy indie hooks have earned them international acclaim, and dust, a post-punk outfit known for their dark, jazz-infused sound. Rising stars FELONY. and strayfold round out a stacked lineup of homegrown talent.

Beyond the music, festival-goers can enjoy Stone & Wood’s 2025 Stone Beer, a bold, malt-driven winter brew crafted with ancient brewing techniques. Tickets start at $65, with first release sales kicking off at 9 AM—but be quick, as last year’s event sold out in advance.
