Festival Of The Sun Announce 2016 Dates

Port Macquarie’s Festival of the Sun (FOTSUN) is back againg for their twelfth year! The beloved Mid-North Coast festival will take place on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 December! The sunny two-day festival will be kicked off by the annual Wabi Sabi Arts Festival on the Thursday evening.

Wabi Sabi, or ‘Nothing Lasts Forever’ when translated from Japanese, is an art festival to get everyone amped up for the live music! Wabi Sabi adds a visual art element to the festival with pop-up workshops, sand sculpting, street art, and even food stalls (yass!).

FOTSUN is still an 18+ BYO event (f*ck yeah) and various types of camping tickets will be available including VIP cabins and cottages. The first lineup is set to drop in August and tickets go on sale Thursday 1 September!

Last year’s sold-out FOTSUN lineup included British India, The Delta Riggs, Alpine, Illy, Thundamentals, and heaps more!
