5 Great Festivals If You’ve Missed Out On Splendour Tickets
The mad scramble for Splendour In The Grass was on this morning, as tickets for the Byron Bay festival went on sale at 9am. In what has long been a Splendour tradition, the event sold out in under two hours, leaving many people disappointed and festering FOMO. But never fear! Whether your computer froze, or you slept in, or you just forgot that tickets went on sale today, we have a sweet list of other Aussie winter festivals for you to attend!
5. Dark Mofo
Taking place during Tasmania’s winter solstice, this festival features performances from Chelsea Wolfe, Jarboe, and Lustmord, plus many more during its run from June 10th to 21st. Dark Mofo also has a (unofficial) tradition of an annual nude solstice swim, when at exactly 7:42am on the 21st June hundreds skinny dip in the freezing River. $50 gets you a season pass for the festival, meaning entry for everyday of the festival, plus it’s free for under 16s.
