Future Classic Announces 20th Anniversary Party at Sydney’s City Recital Hall
Iconic Australian record label Future Classic is celebrating 20 incredible years with a one-night-only anniversary event at Sydney’s City Recital Hall on Friday, February 27, promising an unforgettable night of music, dancing, and discovery.
Spanning three stages, the Future Classic 20th Anniversary Party will showcase some of the label’s most beloved artists, including Emma Louise, Sycco, and Touch Sensitive (performing with his full live band). The lineup also features Paula Tape, Nikki Nair, Panama, Tentendo, and the Future Classic DJs, with plenty of surprise back-to-back sets expected throughout the night.
Since its humble beginnings in the early 2000s, Future Classic has evolved from throwing underground club nights to becoming an international music powerhouse. The Australian-owned and independently run label has helped shape the careers of Flume, Chet Faker, SOPHIE, G Flip, Flight Facilities, Hayden James, and more, earning ARIA and Grammy Awards along the way.
Pre-sale tickets are open now, with general on-sale available Thursday, October 30. Fans can also explore the label’s legacy through a new archival website, celebrating two decades of innovation and community from one of Australia’s most influential record labels.
