Perthonian tech-metalheads Make Way For Man have announced a national tour in support of their debut EP ‘Evolve and Repair’, and they’ve delivered a promo video to prepare us for their intense live shows!
The metal 6-piece dropped their EP in February this year, blending vicious breakdowns, appealing pop hooks, and intricate guitar work to create their own genre-defying style.
Lyrically, the EP revolves around mankind’s impact on ourselves and our environment, while simultaneously pushing for positive change within ourselves. With this thought-provoking material, Make Way For Man stand alongside other Aussie metal acts like Northlane and In Hearts Wake increasing awareness of our environmental footprint.
The EP’s lead single, We Will Surely Drown garnered rotation on metal radio shows after its release. The track is full of intensity from start to finish, as each technically dextrous member of the band shows off their instrumental skills and blending ability. John Kelly and Sean Hendry’s vocals are a powerful asset to the band, the respective screaming and clean vocals intertwining superbly.
