Get Revved up, The Summernats 2017 Line-Up Has Been Announced!

Airbourne

Craving a weekend of wheelies, beauty queens, and Aussie music greats? Why not roll up to Canberra’s Exhibition Park for the Street Machine Summernats Festival. It’s guaranteed to be a monstrous few days!

Next year the festival is turning 30! So, to help them celebrate they’re bringing in some mammoth acts to the main stage.

Much like watermelon and prosciutto, music and cars is an unlikely combination that just works. On Friday night punters will be treated to chart-topping, Aussie hip-hop favourites Drapht and Spit Syndicate. The Sydney duo, and triple j favourites Spit Syndicate will warm up the vehicle as the opening act. Drapht will follow for his sophomore appearance on the Nat’s stage.

By the Saturday night people will be thirsty for some rock. Thirsty Merc will storm the stage after their National Tour to perform some of their greatest hits. Don’t stress they still have plenty of gas left in the tank! They’ll be followed by Aussie rock gods Airbourne for their first Australian performance since 2013. As a creature of mystery, it is rare to see this band out in the open, so see them while you can!

This high octane line-up will run in conjunction with the world’s best burnout battle, horsepower heroics, and much more. It will be a jam-packed weekend of hot music, automotive culture, and all round good times.
