Get Some Of Horace Bones’ Wacky New Track “Jack The Knife” Into Ya

Horace Bones

Horror rockers Horace Bones have just released energetic new track Jack The Knife, the third single release from their forthcoming EP.

Jack The Knife embraces the loud psych-punk madness that Horace Bones are known for, which this time around has been given a twist of rock. For something a little different, the song features an intense mixture of surf and ‘60s garage rock smidgens, with the reverberation of frontman Oisin Kelly’s scratchy, rough voice teleporting us back a few decades.

The band describe themselves as a “psychedelic garage nightmare”, and Jack The Knife undoubtedly leans itself to that, with the intertwining of wacky synth sounds and creepy echoing voices.

Only three singles in, and the four Melbourne dudes have managed to not only nab a Top Five spot in triple j’s weekly Home and Hosed, but also a spot on this year’s NYE on the Hill killer lineup, alongside The Preatures and The Bennies.

Horace Bones’ forthcoming EP ‘Son of the City’ is set for release on September 30, and will kick off their fourth (yes, fourth) 2016 national tour in October. For now though, sink your teeth into Jack The Knife below.
