Get To Know GRMM A Little Better With His New Frisky Track
Sydney beatmaker GRMM has again raised our excitement for his upcoming EP ‘SCENE’ with the release of a new single No One Knows Me Better. To top things off, he’s announced a single launch gig at which he will unveil his new full live show.
The new track uses classic GRMM production to blend the sweet and soulful vocals of Sydney vocalist Thandi Phoenix with the fast paced hip-hop rap of Washington duo Sleep Steady.
No One Knows Me Better begins with a catchy synthesiser intro that leads into a smooth hip-hop track. GRMM makes great use lush production throughout the song to create a soundscape that makes you want to groove, in the dark, in the bedroom, potentially for longer than 3 minutes and 7 seconds…
GRMM, the solo project of Benn Markos, has been on the Aussie scene since his debut release Electrify in 2014, which was later followed by the release of his debut EP ‘Die Young’.
GRMM’s new six-track EP ‘SCENE’ is set to be released Friday 11th of November, and will feature the likes of River, Moza, Father Dude, and Johnny Gr4ves. If No One Knows Me Better is anything to go by, we can expect GRRMS to make the most of these collaborations and deliver some catchy yet mellow beats.
