Get To Know The Wacky & Wonderful Sparrows In Her New Video
Sydney-based songstress Sparrows has just released a wacky and wonderful new video for her single Get To Know You and announced a hometown show!
Filled with twinkling keyboards and pulsing synth beats, Get To Know You is a spirited and unique track about desired love. The bouncing electronic tune meets a wacky hipster storyline in the video, which features a bunch of artists in animal masks following Sparrows around town, visiting forests, thrift shops, and lookouts.
Playing a variety of children’s instruments, the group dance about to Sparrows’ sweetly thin echoing voice and the quirky accompanying melody while she stares directly into the camera.
Sparrows said her inspiration for the video came from a magical festival setting and strangers in crazy costumes. “We were having the time of our lives and I think the costumes certainly played a role in us being able to express ourselves freely. The video is a fun extension of this experience, whereby the masks and styling creates an other-wordly feel.”
