Glass Animals Announce Aussie Tour

PEANUT BUTTER VIBES ARE COMING!! British 4-piece Glass Animals are returning to Australia in early July to play a shows in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.

The indie-rock outfit are currently in the studio finalising their sophomore album, so Aussie fans might be lucky enough to hear their newest tunes when they set foot down under this winter.

The childhood friends were last here in December and January to play at Falls and Southbound, along with a few headline sideshows in support of their debut album ‘ZABA’.

“Drew has his sun-lotion, board shorts, shark alarm, and armbands packed already. So [we’re] pretty much set I think. Here is a photo (below) from last time we were in Australia. Drew had just lost two rounds of strip poker on the beach in a row, this is him storming off,” said drummer Joe Seaward in a letter to fans.

Know for their quirky super groovy electronic pop, their popularity in Australia surged after their 2014 single Gooey made it to #12 in triple j’s Hottest 100.

Having been streamed over 20 million times to date in Australia alone, it’s time for Glass Animals to return to Australian shores and unleash their unique brand of trippy synths, rhythmic guitars, and bass onto the masses.

Tickets go on sale Monday 25th April, get them while they’re hot!
