GLVES Returns with Stunning New Single ‘Time’ and Dreamlike Music Video

Meanjin/Brisbane based First Nations alt-pop artist GLVES has revealed her mesmerising new single Time, alongside a surreal, cinematic music video.

Known for her ethereal soundscapes and emotional depth, GLVES once again showcases her signature style — blending shimmering synths, layered vocals, and afrobeat-inspired rhythms into a lush, emotive anthem. ‘Time’ explores presence as a radical act of love, offering a sonic reflection on connection, loneliness, and the quiet ways we reach for each other.

Visually, the accompanying music video brings the song’s themes to life through glowing light, water, and flowing fabrics. Directed by Butchulla/Kamilaroi filmmaker Rhianna Malezer and choreographed by Allirah Fisher, the video is a striking First Nations women-led production supported by Arts Queensland. The dreamlike visuals mirror GLVES’ lyrical vulnerability and creative power.

“Each scene is a fragment — something remembered, something hoped for — reflecting the quiet courage it takes to meet something fully, whether within yourself or someone else. I’m incredibly proud of what we created.” GLVES.

GLVES has already made her mark on stages at Splendour in the Grass, Dark Mofo, and Ministry of Sound Classical, and with ‘Time’, she continues to establish herself as one of Australia’s most visionary alt-pop voices.

With previous accolades including Best Cinematography at the Reels Music Video Awards and Best Music Video at SWIFF, GLVES proves once again why she’s a rising force in Australian music.
