Gold Class Drop Deluxe Single “Kids On Fire”, Music Vid!

Gold class’ new track Kids On Fire and accompanying music video is like a great massage. It’s kind of aggressive and a little disorientating, but somehow still extremely enjoyable. 

Kids On Fire is our first taste of what is on the horizon for this Melbourne quartet following their debut LP ‘It’s You’. This new track has a more powerful presence than the band’s previous work.

The combination of cold lyrics sung in lead singer Adam Curley’s distinguished tone with a catchy bass guitar riff make for a very easy-listening yet highly emotive indie-rock track.

The music video for Kids On Fire is a black and white montage of Curley and his band members which suits the song atmospherically. If black and white wasn’t already cool and atmospheric enough, the video also boasts some very trippy shadow cinematography.

Gold Class have been busy since the release of this year. They spent earlier this year touring the US and Europe, and even made an appearance at South by Southwest. They’ll be in Melbourne to play two shows to their home crowd before heading back on tour to play around the UK and Europe, and then popping back home to headline this year’s Paradise Music Festival in Melbourne.
