Gold Coast Live Music Venue, elsewhere Offers Teenage Bands The Chance Of A Lifetime
Running Touch
Gold Coast’s iconic live music venue and nightclub elsewhere, is giving three lucky developing teenage artists the opportunity to perform on the live stage on September 4 as part of their launchpad program. This is a chance for local GC youth to get out of their parent’s garage and onto the main stage and perform their original live music in front of peers, friends, parents and industry aficionados.
As a venue that has presented live music every week for the last 20 years, elsewhere is well equipped to contribute to the community by offering professional production technicians and resources for the artists to learn and grow their craft. This is a real-time opportunity for young budding artists to perform on the same stage that has catapulted many to a world platform. Tame Impala, Flight Facilities, Flume, Faker, Jungle Giants, Cut Copy, The Presets, Client Liason, Amy Shark and many more have all performed at elsewhere in their infancy and have gone on to HUGE careers.
Client Liaison
Presented alongside the Gold Coast’s exciting new beach festival, Springtime, 3 lucky artists will be handpicked to perform. On the day there will be 3 Springtime artists on hand in the venue to offer feedback and mentoring to performers. The mentors will be announced in the coming weeks.
