Gold Coast’s OZFEST Drops Hot First 2017 Lineup Announcement
Spending a summer weekend on the Gold Coast is the dream, right? Well even if it’s not (are you kidding us?) OZFEST has given you even more of an excuse to get your beach bod in shape ASAP with their first live music lineup announcement.
Now in its fourth year, the iconic Gold Coast pop-up festival will see live sets from Brisbane alt-pop heroes Ball Park Music, Melbourne rock icons British India, emcee-in-demand Urthboy, our fav surf rock duo Hockey Dad, keyboardist extraordinaire Luke Million, Bec Sandridge, and Bleach Girls.
The super-hot lineup (with more acts to be announced) will be the centrepiece of festival, which promises no clashes, great food, and (most importantly for a Queensland summer) cold beer.
“Our key focus for the festival is to ensure we are bringing the best acts possible across a diverse range of genres to the good folk of South East Queensland…and not for a ridiculous price,” said OZFEST programmer Ian Smith.
“We love our music here at the Miami Shark Bar, the punters and the bands always have a great time. It’s just great how OZFEST takes things up a notch and we get to do something really cool right here in our huge car park!” said Mike Gilbert from the Miami Tavern.
