Golden Vessel Riding “Waves” Like A Pro

Following his 2016 hits Never Know and Do You Think About Me?, Golden Vessel is shining brighter than ever with Wave, the third single from his upcoming debut EP ‘Before Sleep’. The track thrives on the young producer’s instantly-recognisable, silky production, complete with the smooth, sultry vocals of Brisbane duo OKBADLANDS.

In a style reminiscent of Golden Vessel’s 2015 single Can’t Stay, the slow beat and minimal percussion in Wave establish a sense of serenity, while the chord progression gives the song a sophisticated jazz club-vibe. The song started out as a simple computer-generated beat, developing into an edgy, atmospheric dance track with OKBADLANDS’ dreamy vocals – an impressive effort for such a speedy process.

“After a quick creative discussion over some burgers, I got stuck into finishing up the instrumental and OKB had the vocals finished within the week,” Golden Vessel said.
