Good Intent Expands Sydney Footprint With Two New Live Music Venues
Sydney music services agency Good Intent is strengthening the city’s live music ecosystem with the addition of two new venues to its programming roster: Bootleggers in Newtown and The Trocadero Room in Enmore.
Joining the iconic Lansdowne Hotel, which just celebrated its 100th anniversary, the new spaces mark a significant step for Good Intent in supporting grassroots Australian artists and rebuilding Sydney’s live music infrastructure.

Bootleggers, a 200-capacity band room upstairs at Kelly’s on King, has undergone a $15,000 production upgrade and will boast a full backline setup. It’s set to host seven nights of live music, with curated Friday night free shows and rotating club nights on Saturdays.
Meanwhile, The Trocadero Room on Enmore Road—a 140-capacity space—has already welcomed acts like The Terrys, Polish Club, and Shady Nasty since Good Intent took over programming earlier this year. A full backline upgrade, including Fender amps and Olympic drums, is also underway to ease touring logistics for artists.
“Small-to-mid sized venues are the lifeblood of our industry,” says Good Intent Venue Bookings Coordinator Amelia Vesperman. “We’re proud to help rebuild Sydney’s live scene with spaces where artists and communities can thrive.”
With a calendar of emerging and established talent, Good Intent continues to champion Australian music from the dive bar to the main stage.
