Hannah Stow Unveils Dreamy Debut EP ‘Sidelined’
Australian indie-pop artist Hannah Stow has unveiled her highly anticipated debut EP, Sidelined. The 6-track release weaves together a collection of emotion-driven, dreamy tracks that showcase Stow’s signature sound, featuring a delicate mix of electronic elements and her husky, melodic vocals that she was once told to throw in the bin, but she knew that there was a space in the world for.
“Every time I would post snippets of these songs on my Instagram or TikTok people would go wild for them… Just because someone gives their “opinion” on something doesn’t make it factual. If you do everything with love, express authentically, stay in your lane and believe in yourself – the universe will support you and push you towards where you need to be.” – Hannah Stow.

Sidelined features the fan-favourite singles Dawson Road, But I Lie, and In The Dark, alongside three fresh tracks that highlight her talent for crafting melancholic yet uplifting music. Opening with Leave Perth, a reflective ballad about the push-pull of chasing a music career away from home, Stow immediately sets the tone for the EP’s introspective journey.
The track But I Lie delves into the complexity of hidden relationships with pulsing synths and layered vocals, while Dawson Road offers a poppier, guitar-driven exploration of post-breakup reflection. The EP closes with the industrial-tinged Shade On Your Name, bringing a cinematic, raw finish with its bass-heavy drop and poignant voicemail recording.
Stow’s long-awaited debut EP is a testament to her persistence and passion, proving that her deeply personal, atmospheric music connects deeply with her audience. Sidelined is available now, everywhere.
