This Is Happening: LCD Soundsystem Announce First Album In Seven Years

After 7 years, it’s official. LCD Soundystem are releasing a brand new full feature record and we now have a date to work with. That’s right, 00’s nostalgia hipsters–the gods have returned.

This week announcing a record title, ‘American Dream’, release date, 1st September, and track listing. Alongside announcing a world tour and homecoming residency at Brooklyn Steel.

After calling it quits in 2010 the great NYC disco punk legends seem keen to return to a very, very busy schedule with shows in Australia, Japan, UK, Netherlands, France, Canada and USA playing right out till the end of December. We here at AAA Backstage are very excited for their return.
