HARLEY GIRL Drops High-Energy UKG-Infused Single ‘Gimme !’

Gold Coast-based DJ and producer HARLEY GIRL has wasted no time following up his legitimate behaviour EP, returning with a pulsating new track, ‘Gimme !’ – a high-energy fusion of dance and UK garage that’s already been igniting dancefloors during his recent sets.

The track was born from a rediscovered synth recording HARLEY GIRL created years ago, before his current project even existed. Revisiting and reworking the idea into the framework of his signature style created what he describes as a full-circle moment. Road-testing the track at shows over the past few months allowed him to refine it in real time, ensuring it hit with maximum impact on big systems.

“Gimme ! is one of many cuts sitting on my USB at the moment. I’ve been enjoying playing it out the last few months and often had small ideas to tweak it while it would be playing out on a proper sound system. I actually pieced the song together around an old synth recording I’d found from years ago, when I’d tried to make something dance related – long before I’d even conceived of starting this project. That was a really cool full-circle moment, fitting it into this new project.” – HARLEY GIRL.

In addition to the new release, HARLEY GIRL has announced he’s officially joined the roster at renowned Australian booking agency UNDR ctrl, a move that sets the stage for a busy run of performances nationwide.
