Haters Unveil Explosive New Single ‘Last Night’ Ahead of Exclusive Album Vinyl Release

Queensland indie-punk trio Haters are back with their electrifying new single, Last Night. Out now, the track is an unapologetically raw anthem that captures the highs and lows of life’s defining moments. With gritty guitars, pounding rhythms, and a chant-worthy chorus, it’s a song destined to ignite mosh pits and singalongs alike.

Frontman Jai Sparks takes listeners on a heartfelt journey, reflecting on a past riddled with toxic relationships before embracing a newfound sense of belonging. The narrative is set against a backdrop of contrasting memories, offering a cathartic release for anyone navigating life’s complexities.

“I love this song because the first verse tells the story of a past life that is unhealthy and filled with relationships that were fairly toxic while the second dives straight into the complete opposite – all while centred around a day and a night out and the contrasting memory the different times have created,”  – Jai Sparks, Haters.

Produced by Scott Middleton of Cancer Bats fame, Last Night showcases influences from punk heavyweights like Japandroids, Press Club, and IDLES while carving out Haters’ distinctive lyrical edge.

Adding to the excitement, Haters have announced their debut album Non-Violent, set for digital release in March 2025. Fans won’t have to wait long to dive in, though—an exclusive early vinyl release drops November 22, paired with launch shows in Brisbane and Melbourne. With their unfiltered energy and relentless authenticity, Haters continue to prove they’re a force in the punk scene.
