Hayden James Returns with New Jam, ‘Patience’ feat. Karen Harding

Multi-platinum Australian producer Hayden James has just dropped another tantalising track from his upcoming album We Could Be Love, set for release on September 13 via Future Classic. The fresh single, Patience, features the vibrant vocals of UK singer-songwriter Karen Harding, renowned for her collaborations with Armand Van Helden, Purple Disco Machine, and Rudimental.

Patience is a sultry, late-night anthem blending pop-infused house beats that transports listeners straight to a summer dancefloor. Harding’s vocals add a layer of hopeful yearning, perfectly capturing the song’s message of taking things slow in love. Her captivating voice intertwines seamlessly with the addictive melody, building up to a bouncy club beat that promises to get feet moving.

James describes Patience as a pop masterpiece, beautifully melodic with bass, vocals, and drums that create an irresistible groove. Inspired by the idea of a response song, he envisioned Harding’s vocal as a counterpart to his hit Just Friends, and knew he had to recreate it upon hearing her demo.

Harding adds, “We wanted to capture that classic sexy melody with an emotional twist. It’s about falling in love with someone but taking it slow and asking for understanding.”

Patience marks the third single from We Could Be Love, an album that promises a collection of pop-house gems featuring artists like Izzy Bizu and Ross Quinn. With previous hits like Deep Diving and Make It, James’s new album is set to be the soundtrack for poolside parties, road trips, and spontaneous dance-offs.
