Heads Of Charm Release Killer New Single “Okay Yes Please” + Tour

Melbourne’s gloomy groovy alt-rockers Heads of Charm have spun out a fresh single Okay Yes Please, and it pretty much oozes off-kilter fun and good-times. The single is lifted from their forthcoming debut album, and comes just ahead of a national tour and some spicy appearances with DZ Deathrays!

A slick bass groove saturates the opening verse, gelling together with some punchy drums and sharp guitar strokes. David Gagliardi’s vocals pepper the groove with strongly pronounced syllables, giving weight and substance to his words, “I’m a user/A consumer”.

Okay Yes Please’s crashing and catchy chorus flies high before leading into a jammy bridge reminiscent of The Fall of Troy or Fugazi, drippy clean guitars and tribal drum beats with just a hint of chaos in the mix. A final chorus comes around for a fun ending and sharp-yet-poignant final chord.

After charming their way into BIGSOUND attendee’s top-bands-of-the-festival lists, Heads of Charm have been hard at work preparing their follow up to the hype train. Off the back of their previous EP ‘Enough is Enough’ and a string of singles getting some smiles of approval from triple j and others, Heads of Charm have performed a hefty 40+ performances in the last year including supporting Pulled Apart By Horses and Camp Cope.
