Hell F*ck Yeah! Violent Soho To Be Added to Brisbane’s Walk Of Fame

voho-plate-2

Brisbane rockers Violent Soho have had one hell of a year following the release of their latest album ‘WACO’. And it looks like some of the top brass at Brisbane City Council have been jamming hard too, because they’re set to honour the local heroes with a spot on the Brunswick St Mall Walk Of Fame!

Having won the 2016 Song of the Year award for Like Soda at the Queensland Music Awards, Voho will join other QLD legends such as Ball Park Music, Emma Louise, Hungry Kids of Hungary, and of course the almighty Powerfinger on the Walk Of Fame as a lasting recognition of their talents and contributions to the local music industry. The recent QMA award marks Violent Soho’s second win after taking out Album of the Year in 2015 for their highly acclaimed sophomore album ‘Hungry Ghost’.

In a recent chat with The Music, QMusic Chief Executive Joel Edmondson said, “It goes without saying that Violent Soho are one of Queensland’s most talented and hardworking bands, and very much deserve their place amongst their peers on the Walk Of Fame”.

Violent Soho also recently collaborated with Byron Bay based brewery Stone & Wood to create their own beer, The East Coast Crusher. To celebrate the release of the brew, Violent Soho will be hosting a series of free launch parties so fans can get their hands on this one-of-a-kind beer!
