Hellcat Speedracer Keep The Party Going With ‘Daybreak’ feat. DZ Deathrays

Sydney’s rising electronic dance duo, Hellcat Speedracer, have just unleashed their latest single, Daybreak, an electrifying collaboration with Aussie rock heavyweights DZ Deathrays. This high-octane track serves as the first taste of Hellcat Speedracer’s forthcoming debut EP, blending breakbeats, punk energy, and techno-infused production into a chaotic, dance-floor-ready anthem.

The duo has been road-testing the track on their current national Daybreak Single Tour. In a memorable moment, Shane Parsons of DZ Deathrays joined Hellcat Speedracer on stage at Sydney’s Lansdowne Hotel to perform the song live, further cementing the track’s explosive impact.

The track’s pounding beats, and fiery chants channel the spirit of 90s rave culture, reminiscent of sweaty warehouse parties where genres collided, and the dance floor was a euphoric escape. Hellcat Speedracer describe Daybreak as a call to keep the party going, no matter the obstacles, with its infectious energy designed to ignite the dance floor and bring everyone together.

Hellcat Speedracer share …“With its angry chant, we are pleading for the party to never end, and we want all our friends along for the ride. We want this song to be an infectious war cry that rekindles the fire beneath the party, that sets alight to the dance floor. “Daybreak” demonstrates a no person left behind energy. With the cross blending of genres, we want this to highlight that a Hellcat Speedracer party is for everyone.”

Shane from DZ Deathrays add… “I’m so keen to have this track see the light of day. It’s hard out, electronic punk, a very fun song to make and we actually went through quite a few versions until we landed on the right vibe for the song. I feel like it’s hectic in the best way possible and looking forward to seeing if the boys do an extended mix!”

The duo, who have quickly gained a reputation for their wild DJ sets and unforgettable live performances, continue to captivate audiences across Australia. With Daybreak, Hellcat Speedracer are set to solidify their place as one of the most exciting acts in the electronic music scene. The Daybreak Single Tour will continue with appearances at BIGSOUND, Yours and Owls Festival, and Big Pineapple Festival, ensuring the party never stops. It’s available now, everywhere.
