Hilltop Hoods Drop Powerful New Single ‘Never Coming Home’ Featuring SIX60 and UFC Champ Alexander Volkanovski

Australian hip hop icons Hilltop Hoods have returned with a punch, unveiling their brand-new single Never Coming Home, featuring acclaimed New Zealand band SIX60. The high-energy track, paired with an electrifying music video, cements the trio’s reputation for blending raw lyricism with bold visuals.

“Never Coming Home is about a journey of self-growth and achievement. It’s about setting out on that sojourn and not coming back until you’ve achieved your goals. This song was the first one we wrote over a two-day writing session with SIX60 & One Above and became our favourite writing collaborations we’ve done in years. Massive shout out to Alexander The Great Volkanovski and Colby Thicknesse for being in the clip and bringing it to life.” Pressure

Never Coming Home is a rallying anthem about self-growth, discipline, and striving for greatness—a theme brought to life in the official video featuring UFC Featherweight World Champion Alexander Volkanovski. Filmed in Melbourne and directed by Jeremy Koren, with concept by ARIA Award-winning Bill Bleakley, the clip also stars UFC Bantamweight fighter Colby Thicknesse, Oceania freestyle wrestling champ Aaron Maher, and Jiu Jitsu stars Adele Fornarino and Craig Jones.

“I’ve been a big fan of both Hilltop Hoods and SIX60, it was so cool to be a part of the video. Growing up I’ve always listened to Hilltop Hoods and always been a big fan of them. As soon as I got wind that they were doing this, I knew I had to make it happen and be a part of the clip along with Colby, I love doing these acting gigs and really enjoy it. It was funny, as soon as we knew this was happening, I literally got to the gym and Hilltop Hoods were playing. You’re Never Coming Home till your champ.”Alexander Volkanovski

The single follows Hilltop Hoods’ tradition of collaborating with powerhouse talent while celebrating resilience and ambition. Never Coming Home sees Hilltop continue to evolve their sound while staying true to their roots in Australian hip hop.

Never Coming Home is available now, everywhere.
