Hollow Coves Shine Bright On Their Latest EP, ‘Blessings’
Brisbane duo, Hollow Coves have recently unveiled their brand new EP, Blessings. It follows on and features their very well received single, Hello.
Blessings is a five track collection of songs that sees Hollow Coves reach their peak of sound and creativity. The EP was written and recorded by the band at their home studio on the Gold Coast when the world had a moment for isolation. The pair took this opportunity to lay down some of their best work to date.
“We had a bit of a different approach towards this EP. We didn’t really write these songs to fit together. We were just trying to write anything that came to us. Most of these songs were written during the Stay-at-Home COVID period. We also ended up recording and producing most of the songs ourselves. We built a small home studio during COVID and had to learn how to do everything from scratch. The process took quite a long time because we really had no idea what we were doing.” – Hollow Coves
Hollow Coves are halfway through a mammoth tour to celebrate the release and they’ve sold out almost every show! But don’t sweat because they pretty much hit the road as soon as this one finishes, in support of Paper Kites. All the details are below.
