Hope for the Homeless Bringing Comfort To Brisbane’s Homeless
A team of Year 12 students from Brisbane’s Music Industry College have banded together to organise an ambitious ‘Hope for the Homeless’ charity event, scheduled for Friday August 5 at The Triffid.
The event has received funding from University of Southern Queensland and will feature live music, food, art, and a raffle which will include prizes from restaurants, bars, and general places to chill around Brisbane.
Live music at the event features a formidable lineup of local talent including WAAX, Deena, Winchester, Straalen, Asha Jefferies, and Jasmine Pegg.
The Music Industry College students have teamed up with charity organisations 139 Club and Street Swags to provide comfort and supplies to those less fortunate than us in the form of clothes, bedding, and food.
All proceeds from the event will go towards funding these much needed resources for Brisbane’s homeless community, so it all starts with you!
