We’re Hot And Heavy For Sex On Toast’s New Single ‘Doubt’

Melbourne 10-piece retro pop outfit Sex On Toast have got us all hungry for more after releasing their new single and video Doubt and announcing upcoming EP ‘Ready’ will be released in just a few weeks.

As if that wasn’t enough, the band have also announced dates for Melbourne shows later this month – We’re ‘Ready’, excited, and a little aroused.

Following the cult success of their recent single Oh Loretta!, these vivacious, talented musicians have again combined retro production, 70s-inspired instrumentation, and tongue-in-cheek lyrics in Doubt.

The song’s old-school pop-rock vibes will undoubtedly impress you upon first listen, and the first won’t be your last. By the third or fourth time around, you’ll be dancing and singing along to the cheeky lyrics.

The Doubt music video is even more entertaining than the song, showing off the band’s penchant for all things hilariously outrageous. Based on a Caddyshack-inspired ‘lad’s golf day’, it follows a protagonist who is, in the band’s own words, an “unappealing git”. In a hysterical display of male bravado, all ten members of Sex On Toast end up wrestling for superiority on the green. Check the video out below!

‘Ready’ is set for release on Friday 1 April and we’re hungrily counting down the days. Until then, there’s plenty of Toast to go around with three consecutive Doubt residency shows announced for this month.
